Of all the thousands of boats and ships built here, one name stands out above the others: Titanic . Pretty much everyone knows the story of how it was built in Belfast by Harland and Wolff – along with sister ships Olympic and Britannic – and, after encountering an iceberg, went to a watery grave somewhere in the North Atlantic, around 450 miles east of New York.
